Your personal integrity is important to us at af Essenn (” af Essenn”, ”we”, ”us”). At the moment af Essenn isn't a registered business, but we treat it as one and take the measures required of a business.

Personal information is any information that kan be connected with you as an individual, such as your name and your contact information.

What data do we collect?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- register for our newsletter
- voluntarily complete a customer survey
- when you contact us via email or via social media
We also receive data indirectly:
- when you visit our website
- via One.com which is the company that host our website
- via MailerLite which is our email marketing service provider
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- email you with news, information, and special offers
- get a better understanding of how you use our products and services
- improve our products and services
How is data processed if you make a purchase through our online shop?
Our shop is hosted by Redbubble in such way that Redbubble is the owner and processor of all your data when you purchase something.
We cannot see any of your information when you make a purchase in the shop.
Because of this it's important that you reach out to Redbubble if there are any problems with your purchase.

Do we transfer your data outside of the EU?
Your data is transfered outside of the EU if you contact us directly via social media (Instagram), in that case all data is controlled by Meta. If you contact us directly via social media we will keep your information (your message/s) at max. 2 weeks after the issue has been resolved.
Your data is also transfered outside of the EU if you make any purchases in our shop on Redbubble, but remember that the data you provide to Redbubble is completely owned by Redbubble and ruled by their privacy policy. Se the previous section for more information.
What measures do we take to keep your data safe?
We take the security of all data seriously and strive to take all measures available to us to keep your data safe, for example two factor authentication, and more.
In addition to this we only choose suppliers that we trust and know do their best in regards to data security as well.
What are your data protection rights
You have:
Right to access – You have the right to request a copy of the personal information about you that we have access to.
Right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any personal information about you that we have which you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete personal information about you which you believe is incomplete.
Right to erasure and restrict processing – You have the right to request that we erase your personal information that are not needed for us to fulfill our legal duties. You also have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information.
Right to object to data processing – You have the right to object to us processing your personal information when that processing is based on business interest.
Right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer data and personal information to another organization, or directly to you, where data portability is technically possible.
Right to make a complaint – You have the right to make a complaint to the data processing authority in your country of origin, where you work, or where the alleged over step of legal data protection have occured.
If you want to make a request we have one month to respond to you.
